Boost Mobile Blackberry!

Many have been talking about the Blackberry Curve 8330 that Boost Mobile is currently offering with their special $60 Blackberry Monthly Unlimited plan. However, this Blackberry lacks one key feature, the walkie-talkie so many Boost customers have grown used to. So what does this mean? It's $10 more and you don't get the walkie-talkie. Yeah you're opened up to Sprint's 3G network and unlimited use of Blackberry push email and Blackberry App World, but for those of us that would rather do away with the push email (in favor of free apps like Gmail) and who don't really care about access to 3G or Blackberry App World, that leaves many questioning, "What should I do?" Well, fear not! Nextel has a few Blackberry smartphones that opperate on their iDEN network so that means that you can use them on Boost Mobile and still lock in that low price of $50/month for unlimited talk, text, web, and walkie-talkie. How do you do this? It's simple. All it takes is a little know-how and some good 'ol patience. Once you've got all the information and the software needed (and of course the Blackberry) you can easily unlock it for use on Boost Mobile's $50 Monthly Unlimited Plan.

I have embedded a trailer for my review of the Blackberry Curve 8350i on Boost Mobile. This video review was on the Leashed YouTube channel from January until mid March when a company by the name of Online Sales Group, Inc. claimed copyright infringement on the contents of the video (even though none whatsoever was present) and YouTube blocked the video from being able to be viewed. It got over 15,000 views and hundreds of comments. I have put the review, in it's entirety, on this site, click here.

Also available is a step-by-step guide on how to unlock any Nextel Blackberry smartphone for use on Boost Mobile's $50 Unlimited Plan.

Working on Some NEW STUFF!

It's been a few weeks since I posted a new blog entry and I don't want anybody thinking that I've gone silent or anything. I've just been working on some new episodes of Gameplay and Everything Tech. I won't give anything too revealing away, but I will say that the first of this summer's new Gameplay episodes is all about a certain sequel to a survival horror game that never was, or at least not how we all ended up experiencing it. That kicks off a summer full of all-new Gameplay!
On the tech side, I'll be reviewing the much talked about Sanyo Incognito for Boost Mobile as well as the 250GB PS3 Slim among other tech stuff. And lastly, E3 (The Electronic Entertainment Expo) is less than a month away. Expect my predictions and reactions of this year's show :)

Oh, one more thing. This summer, FRIDAY NIGHT will be the best night of your week, just saying.

Okay well that's a look at what's coming to Leashed in the approaching weeks. Thank you always for watching our stuff and please subscribe on YouTube, become a fan on Facebook, and become our friend on MySpace!
