I was browsing the Boost Mobile website today and noticed that they have picked up two more Sanyo CDMA phones formerly exclusive to Sprint. Well, really only one more phone, but it's available in two colors making it two separate phones. The once-exclusive-to-Sprint Sanyo SCP-2700, in blue and pink, is being available for Boost Mobile's newly (re)launched CDMA Unlimited service. The Boost versions will come with some exclusive changes, but not many. For starters, Boost is calling it the Sanyo Juno instead of the SCP-2700, but nonetheless its the same phone. The biggest change is the name, but other than the that, the blue Sanyo Juno will have an orange accent color on the numeric keys and to highlight the second function of each key on the full QWERTY keyboard, instead of lime green like the Sprint version. Other than that, this is the same exact phone as the SCP-2700 for Sprint as Boost continues to release formerly-exclusive Sprint phones. Still not a bad thing though, at only $99 new, the Sanyo Juno, in blue or pink, makes a great basic messaging phone for anyone looking for just that.
This is more of a first look then review and I will not be formally reviewing this phone as I still have my eyes on the Sanyo Incognito for Boost.
